Only a couple days until Gabriel Bernini’s latest full length is out here on Dadstache! Our friends over at Austin Town Hall shared the full stream of the record today so you can check it out before it’s out anywhere else. They say that “The entirety of the listen revolves around the balance between melody and rock n’ roll attitude” and I think that’s a pretty astute way to describe this record! I’m partial to the phrase “mellow cruisers” but what Nathan wrote is probably more helpful if “mellow cruisers” doesn’t immediately click for you. Seriously, this record is like Tom Petty if he’d hung out with King Tuff at some point and threw some psychedelic tinges in the mix. Gabe would probably tell you it sounds like NRBQ to him.
