“Needy” is the debut EP from Rochester, NY’s Giana Caliolo (ex-Secret Pizza, Buckets, Pony Hand) and is recorded and produced by Matt Battle (Taking Meds, Oh Manitou). The songs on “Needy” had been in the works for 4 years, a continuation of Caliolo’s work with Buckets. The songs retain the intimacy of their circumstances, bedroom compositions with a sole guitar, but are brought to life with the help of a new backing band and give even more power to Caliolo’s singular vocals. The record seeks to find the balance between self-reliance and leaning on  those around you, sonically seeking a similar balance between intimate atmospherics and powerful guitar driven rockers.
