Forevers started as an offshoot of legendary Rochester, NY indie rockers Muler (one time labelmates of Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, etc). Main songwriter David Baumgartner brings his knack for huge, anthemic hooks via thoughtful lyrics over jangly guitar parts from that band, and adds layers of synthesizer and vocal harmonies. Both nostalgic for the time Baumgartner began as a songwriter and also forward thinking, “Between The Banners, Beneath The Floors” continues to expand the sound heard on Forevers’ debut EP “Cotton Thrones” and take it to greater heights. The record is a reflection on growth, the places you’ve been and how you left them, and a rumination on what is yet to come.
